Mary Kathleen Bronson

Mary K. Bronson, 64, of Bancroft, Nebraska, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Bancroft with Father Paul Ortmeier officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Church with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Catholic Church Cemetery in Bancroft. Mary was born on April 7, 1946, in West Point, NE, the daughter of Albert and Margaret (Strader) Gatzemeyer. She married Harrie Bronson on August 28, 1971 in Bancroft, NE. She had worked as a legal assistant for law firms in Omaha, Mary had been a long time employee of Kutak-Rock Law Firm before retiring. She and Harrie moved to Bancroft in 2005. She was active in her church, was a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, liked playing cards and being with her family. Mary is survived by her husband Harrie, children: Melissa Bronson of Bancroft, NE; Matthew Bronson of Shreveport, LA, brothers Marvin (Rita) Gatzemeyer of Willow Springs, MO, Rodney (Carol) Gatzemeyer of Parkville, MO, sister-in-law Belva (Robert L.) Bailey of Aiken, SC, and aunt, Maxine Buchholz of Bancroft, NE as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces. Mary was preceded in death by her parents.
