Jerry D. Smith

Jerry D. Smith, 75, of rural Walthill, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, March 20, at his home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, at 10:00 a.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft, Nebraska, with Pastor Philip Hale officiating. Interment will be in the Creighton Cemetery in Creighton, Nebraska at 2:30 on Thursday. There will be no visitation. Jerry was born on April 15, 1935 in Creighton, Nebraska, the son of Fred and Carolyn (Thomsen) Smith. He worked construction most of his life. He is survived by his children: Pamily Wortman and her husband Jason of Bancroft, NE, and Jeri D. Smith of Nevada, IA, four grandchildren, brother James Smith and his wife Paulette of Creighton, NE, and sister Norma Jean Dunklau of Seward, NE. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.
