Andrew A. Larson

Andrew A. Larson, 90, of Lyons, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Oakland Mercy Hospital in Oakland, NE. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill, NE, with the Rev. Brion Tolzman officiating. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender, NE. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill, NE. Andrew was born on May 1, 1921 in Rosalie, Nebraska, the son of John and Anna (Bahr) Larson. He graduated from Winnebago High School in 1941. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill. Andrew married Donna Conger on November 16, 1968 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill, he farmed in the Walthill and Rosalie areas until his retirement from the farm near Rosalie when he moved to Lyons. Since January 2010, he has lived at the Logan Valley Manor in Lyons. Andrew is survived by his partner, Donna Larson and her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and by nieces and nephews: Larry Wingett, Terry Wingett, Suzann (Wingett) Meierdierks, Loretta (Larson) Jackson, John Larson and great nieces and nephews. Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ralph, and a sister Uldeen (Sue) Wingett.
