Milton F. Jasa, 81, of Pender, Nebraska, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at the Pender Care Centre. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 12, at 10:30 a.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender with the Rev. Charity Potter officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home in Pender. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Pender with military honors.
Milton was born on September 21, 1929, in Thurston, Nebraska, the son of James Jasa Sr., and Mildred (Milfeit) Jasa. He grew up on the family farm 3 1/2 miles east of Thurston. He served in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. After returning from Military service, he farmed with his brother Ted until they moved to Pender in 1988. He had been a resident of the Pender Care Centre for the last two and a half years.
Milton is survived by a brother, Richard and his wife of Carson City, NV, a sister-in-law, Frances Jasa of Pender, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Milton was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and five brothers.
