Marian R. Macklin

Marian R. Macklin, 81 of Pender, Nebraska died on Thursday, September 6, 2007 at the Pender Care Centre in Pender, Ne. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 10 at 10:30 a.m. at the Covenant Church in Pender with the Rev. Dan Springer officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the family present from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Pender. Marian was born on July 24, 1926 in Bancroft, Ne, the daughter of R. Chester and Ida (Hanson) Graff. She graduated from Bancroft High School, and also completed two years of College. She married James Macklin on December 28, 1946. After her marriage the couple farmed at Herman, Bancroft and Thurston, Ne. James died in 1988. Marian moved into Pender in 1989. She was active in her church, PEO and with her family. Marian is survived by her children: David Macklin and his wife Rachel of Bancroft, Ne; Judy Deer and her husband Kenneth of Sterling Heights, Mi; and Kristine Neville and her husband Vince of San Diego, Ca., as well as twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers: Orin Graff and his wife Delores of Lincoln, Ne; Curtis Graff and his wife Evelyn of Dolhart, Tx; and Lyle Graff and his wife Shirley of Luverne, Mn. Marian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, and a son Danny.
