Lila J. (Tipton) Sailors, 77, of Rosalie, Nebraska, went to sleep in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 30, 2012 at Legacy Gardens Care Center in Pender, Nebraska. Funeral services for Lila will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Town Hall in Rosalie; Brother John Bellar and Pete King will be officiating. The visitation will be held at the Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft on Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 6:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery. To leave condolences to the family, please visit www.munderlohfuneralhome.com Lila was born to Ray “Buck” and Josephine (Lamson) Tipton, September 12, 1934 on a farm between Walthill and Macy. Lila attended country school and in Macy. She later graduated from Walthill High School in 1952. United in marriage to Hillman “Hick” Sailors August 26, 1961, her heart was for husband and her five children- her price far above rubies. She worked willingly with her hands mastering the art of cooking and singing while ironing. She loved to fold clothes and decorate her house. She was born again on December 12, 1982, and filled with the Holy Spirit, praying without ceasing for her family and friends. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Walthill, and enjoyed teaching her Sunday school class. Later she had church in her home for eight years and loved to prepare a lunch for after Wednesday night services. She started a Monday School for all the kids in town and taught them of Jesus and baked them goodies. She stretched out her hand to the poor, and reached forth her hands to the needy. Lila feared the Lord, Loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a loving sister and a great best friend. Lila is survived by her husband Hillman “Hick,” children Ricky Ray Miles and fiancé Chris Flanagan of Weeping Water, Ne, Randall Lee and wife Catherine Miles of Lincoln, Ne, Bradley Dean Sailors and friend Connie Springer of Rosalie, Ne, Ann Jane’e Sailors and friend Derrick Wood of Sioux Falls, SD, and Rhona Sue and husband Dean Dufek of Lyons, Ne. Lila is also survived by her grandchildren: Joshua, Rhiannon Rae, Jeremy, Jennifer, Marcus, Jessica, Gabriel, Dalton, Michael, Eric, Red and DJ and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Alice Kullbom, Joanne Kunzie, brothers Marlow Sr. “Brown,” Francis “Fritz,” Donny and Jimmy Lee Tipton.
