Eugene C. Adams

Eugene C. "Red" Adams, 70, died on May 22, 2012 at the Linn Community Nursing Home in Linn, Kansas. He was born on April 25, 1942 at Wakefield, Nebraska to Carl and Mary (Kudlac) Adams. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, Ne. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City, Iowa. Eugene worked as a truck driver and for a saw mill. He later bought some farmland so he could farm. He went on to rent out his farmland and started to work construction, traveling to several locations around the country. He also worked at a shipyard as a ship mechanic in Seattle, Washington. Eugene loved to travel. Eugene is survived by his sister, Mary Kellogg of Washington, Kansas and nieces and nephews. Eugene is preceded in death by his parents and his brother William Adams.
