Ellen P. Beaudette

Click here to view video tribute   Ellen P. Beaudette, 88, of Emerson, Nebraska, formerly of Walthill, died on Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Pender Community Hospital in Pender, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 2:30 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill; Rev. Brion Tolzman will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill. The burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery. Ellen was born on July 14, 1919 to Tom and Emma (Bourelle) Rager. She married Delmer (June) Beaudette on March 13, 1945 in Elk Point, South Dakota. Delmer passed away on January 2, 1991. Ellen ran the care center in Walthill for 20 years. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She sewed quilts for the Stitching Post for 6 years. She moved to Lyons in 1994, and moved into the Heritage of Emerson Nursing home in 2007. Most of her life was spent in Walthill. Ellen is survived by children: Irene Reynolds of Shenandoah, Ia; Kenneth Beaudette and special friend Ramona Hilsinger of Walthill, Ne; Sandy Tolzin and her husband Kermit of Clarinda, Ia; and Starla Erickson and her husband Rick of Lyons, Ne, brother Walt Rager of Ravenna, Ne, sisters: Bernie Fendrick and Daisy Pointer both of Emerson, Nebraska. She is also survived by 12 grand children, 25 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Delmer, two brothers and three sisters, one grandchild and one great grandchild and a son-in-law Bernie Joe Reynolds.
