V. Virginia Wrage, 91, of South Sioux City, Nebraska died on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Regency Square Nursing Home in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Funeral services for Violet will be on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Valentine, Nebraska. There will be a Rosary Service at 1:00 P.M. at the church on Saturday afternoon. Interment will be beside her husband in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Woodlake, Nebraska.
Virginia Wrage was born on February 12, 1916 to John and Margaret Mulligan from King, Nebraska. Virginia married Bud Wrage on June 2, 1939. Bud and Virginia ranched in the Wood Lake and Valentine, Nebraska area for many years, and had a feed produce and trucking business in Valentine until 1963, at which time, they moved to Eastern Nebraska and farmed for many years. Bud and Virginia retired in 1971 and moved to Norfolk, Nebraska.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret, her husband Bud, sisters Marie Fagan, Adelade Gaylord, Mildred Lovejoy, brothers John and Bill Mulligan, brothers-in-law Ansel Wrage, Mick Wrage, Doug Wrage, Shirly Gaylord, Lawrence Fagan, Hal Lovejoy, sisters-in-law, Bobbie Wrage and Betty Wrage.
Virginia leaves behind her children: Peggy Schubauer of Sioux City, Iowa, Pat and husband Don Riley of Norfolk, Nebraska, Tim and wife Janice Wrage from both Valentine and Emerson, Nebraska, fourteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, sisters-in-laws Dick Mulligan, Mary Mulligan, Shirley and husband Norel Daniels, and Doris Wrage.
