Click here to view the video tribute.   Trisha Kinnaman, 41, of Emerson, Nebraska died on Thursday, January 10, 2008 as the result of a traffic accident. Funeral services for Trisha will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at Salem Lutheran Church in Wakefield, Nebraska, Pastor Jerome Cloninger will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Salem Lutheran Church in Wakefield. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. on Monday evening at the church. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery. Bressler - Munderloh Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of the arrangements. There will be a lunch following the committal service at the cemetery at the Legion Hall in Wakefield. Trisha Areta Willers Kinnaman was born on March 21st 1966 at Wakefield Community hospital to Larry and Carol Mortenson Willers. She graduated from Wakefield High School in 1984. She went 3 years to Doane College in Crete Ne. where she was a member of Gamma Phi Iota Sorority. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center Omaha with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1989. She worked at Immanuel Hospital in Omaha until the fall of 1996 when she started working at the Pender Hospital until the time of her death. Trisha was full of life which first and foremost was all of her children and grandson’s activities. She loved camping, running, boating, traveling, scrap booking, making jewelry, family, and friends. As a child she was very active in 4-H and loved life on the farm. She has served on the Church Council at Salem for several years. She traveled to many area hospitals and nursing homes to treat patients and loved her work and all the people she worked with. Trisha enjoyed working with the elderly in the Wakefield Nursing Home during her high school and college years and never changed her desire and early childhood dream to become a Physical Therapist and to help others. She married Randy Kinnaman on May 13th 1995 at Salem Lutheran Church in Wakefield. She is survived by her husband Randy, stepdaughter Trish Kinnaman Frederick and her husband Jason of Sioux City Ia. Two daughters and one son Megan Ann, Paige Rachel, and Ryan William Steven. One grandson Anthony Paul Frederick. Her parents Larry and Carol Willers of Wayne. Brother Todd and Darcy Willers of Kearney, Sister Tanya (they shared the same birth dates March 21st) and Dan Heikes of Wayne, nephews Chase and Cody Willers and Dustin and Garrett Heikes. Father-in-Law Lee Kinnaman of Sioux City Ia. Mother-in-Law Faye Kinnaman of Sioux City and Brother-in-Law Rick and Michelle Kinnaman of Hinton Ia., and nephew Drew Kinnaman, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Elmer and Rachel Willers, and Weldon and Ann Mortenson, her stepmother-in law Glenda Kinnaman, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will forever be missed by the many hearts she touched.
