Mary A. Watson, 71, of Rosalie, formerly of Walthill, Nebraska died on Saturday, January12, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill,Ne, with the Rev. Brion Tolzman officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill at a later date. Mary was born on February 15, 1937 in Bowman, North Dakota, the daughter of Merle and Mildred (Waterhouse) Mauer. She married Robert Watson on June 7, 1956 in Maringo, Iowa. Afterward they lived in Walthill, Ne until August 19, 2007 when they moved to Rosalie, Ne. She had worked for IBP, Omaha Lines and Ikes Bingo. Mary enjoyed quilting, Crocheting, her family, and spending time in Texas with her sister. She was especially devoted to her grandchildren. Mary is survived by her husband Robert, son, Bobby Watson of Dakota City, Nebraska, daughters Renee Barnes and her husband Dan of Sloan, Iowa, Reva Novak and her husband Scott of Rosalie, Nebraska, Regina Stansberry and her husband Eddie of Walthill, Nebraska, Rita Gomez and her husband Kyle and Ruth Ann Bonneau and her husband Curt all of Rosalie, Nebraska, as well as 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters: Rose Moorman of Amarillo, Tx; and Bonnie Countryman of Moville, Ia, and a brother Richard Mauer of Rapid City, SD and other step-brothers and step-sisters.
