Mary E. Fillipi

Mary E. Fillipi, 68, of Pender, Nebraska died on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Pender Community Hospital in Pender, Nebraska. Memorial services for Mary will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Pender; Pastor Jon Fillipi will be officiating. The Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Pender. The visitation will continue on Monday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the service. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery of Pender. Mary was born on February 21, 1944 in Pender, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Marie (Heineman) Bolln. She attended school at Pender High School. Mary was married to Dennis Fillipi on August 27, 1960 at the Presbyterian Church in Pender. To this union two children were born Mike and Lisa. Over the years, Mary worked at various places including Schantels, Rink Manufacturing and Pete Bolln Distributing. Dennis died on September 29, 2009. She enjoyed the time spent with her family, fishing, camping, and working on crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed her trips to Colorado, canning and bowling. Mary is survived by her children Mike and wife Joan Fillipi and Lisa and husband Tony Crippen all of Pender, four grandchildren Nicholas and Shane Crippen and Connor and Maggie Fillipi, two brothers Pete Bolln of Pender and Walt and wife Edna Bolln of Decatur, Nebraska along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dennis, brother Jim Bolln, and a sister and her husband Georgia and Art Reich.
