Curtis George Weborg

Curtis G. Weborg, 86, of Pender, NE passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Legacy Garden Living Center in Pender, NE. Funeral services for Curtis will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pender with Pastor Dan Springer officiating. A visitation will be held Wednesday 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Pender, NE. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Pender, NE. Curtis was born on July 10, 1926 in Pender, Nebraska, the son of George and Tyra (Wallen) Weborg. He graduated from Pender High School. On June 19, 1949 Curtis married Janice Anderson, to this union three sons were born. He was a farmer and cattle feeder all of his life. Curtis belonged to the Cuming County Feeders Association, and the Evangelical Covenant Church of Pender. He also enjoyed playing golf. Curtis is survived by his wife Janice, three sons: Kent and his wife Colleen, Craig and his wife Darlene, and Brian and his wife Renee, all of Pender, Nebraska. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, George and Tyra Weborg, and brothers Kenneth and Roy Weborg. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Legacy Gardens Hospice Room and the Evangelical Covenant Church Cemetery Association.
