Karen Faye Morris

Karen Faye Morris "Kentucky Karen", 67, of Walthill, Nebraska, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013 at Matney's Colonial Manor in South Sioux City, Nebraska after a fight with cancer. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, February 3, at 2:00 P.M. at the Cornerstone Assembly of God Church in Pender, Nebraska. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the Memorial service at the church. Karen Faye was born on May 15, 1945 in Bloomfield, Nebraska, the daughter of Gilbert and Marcella (Ferguson) Burlingame. She graduated from Osmond High School. Karen loved cooking, reading books, gardening, building puzzles, playing cards, being outdoors, and listening to music. Karen is survived by two sons and one daughter: Trent (Dawn) Wiebelhaus of Sioux City, Iowa, Cory (Evelyn) Wiebelhaus of Thurston, Nebraska, and Michelle Wortman and fiance' Berlou Barnard of Omaha, Nebraska, daughter-in-law Cindy Finley of Johnson Lake, NE as well as fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Eugene Burlingame and his wife Mickey of Ownesboro, Kentucky. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her oldest son, Jerry.
