Lillian Fredrickson

Lillian Aline (Reinhart) Fredrickson, 89, of Wakefield, NE, passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Wakefield Care Center in Wakefield, NE. Funeral services for Lillian will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wakefield, with Pastor Willie Bertrand officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Wednesday morning. Burial with Military Honors will be in the Wakefield Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wakefield, NE. Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of arrangements. Lillian was born November 5, 1923, in Spring Valley, MN, to Knute and Bertha (Danielson) Reinhart. She attended and graduated High School in Chatfield, MN. In December of 1943 Lillian enlisted into the US Navy, she was a Pharmacist Mate First Class. Lillian married Cecil L. Fredrickson on May 29, 1959. Lillian was a faithful member at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wakefield where she taught Sunday school for several years and was a member of the L.W.M.L. Lillian enjoyed gardening and baking for her family and friends. Lillian is survived by her son David (Jackie) Fredrickson of Lincoln, NE; two grandchildren Nathan (Natalie) Fredrickson of Rosemont, CA, and Michelle (Chris) Pulford of Lincoln, NE; 5 great grandchildren; a brother George (Florence) Reinhart of Rochester, MN, and many nieces and nephews. Lillian is preceded in death by her husband Cecil, parents, brother Albert Reinhart and sister Esther Converse.
