Ardys M. Huber

Ardys Marie Huber, 67, of Walthill, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Winnebago Hospital in Winnebago, Nebraska. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 17th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Walthill, Nebraska with Fr. Michael Eckley officiating. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill. Ardys was born on May 17, 1940 in Watertown, South Dakota, the daughter of M.S. “Scotty” and Gladys M. (Comeau) Gunn. She graduated from High School in Aberdeen South Dakota, and married shortly thereafter while living in Walthill. She later married Elmer Huber on May 17, 1986 in Sioux City, Iowa. Ardys is survived by her husband Elmer, children: Eldon Roy Wilcox of New Orleans, LA; Douglas Wilcox of Auburn, WA; and Ann Slate of Walthill, NE, six grandchildren, step-children: Donna White of Weiser, ID; Caroline Kay Smith of Upland, CA; and Ronald Lee Huber of Redlands, CA, as well as seven step grandchildren, a brother James Gunn and his wife Shirley of Laurel, NE, and a sister Mary Lowell and her husband Dr. Jim Lowell of Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Ardys was preceded in death by her father, and an infant son, Shawn.
