Click here to view the video tribute.Ervin L. Sebade, 72, of Emerson, Nebraska died on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at St. Luke’s Regional Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 9, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson, NE., with the Rev. Gretchen Ritola officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Church, with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Emerson, NE.Ervin L. Sebade was born on September 30, 1935 to Edward and Goldie (Frey) Sebade in Dixon County. He attended rural school in Dixon County. He was united in marriage to Lulene Stallbaum on June 3, 1956 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson. He farmed and was a cattle feeder for over 50 years. His greatest joys were his family, farming and traveling.He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and was a past member of the Emerson Hubbard School board and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Council.Ervin is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lulene; four children, Mary Beth and husband Reed Christensen of Davie, Florida, Debbra and husband Mick Fuchser of Bennington, Nebraska, Rick and wife Cindy Sebade of Emerson, Nebraska and Brent and wife Brenda Sebade of Emerson, Nebraska. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Heather and Bethannie Christensen, Ryan, Laura and Kyle Fuchser, Andy, Sarah and Cory Sebade and Justine, Jacob and Joshua Sebade, two sisters Marcella Cook of Appleton City, Missouri and Mollianne Larson of Emerson, Nebraska.He was preceded in death by a grandson Jared Allan Sebade, his parents and two sisters Betty Vosteen and Laurene Lueth.
