Click here to view the memorial video.Alice M. Tullberg, 72, of Emerson, Nebraska died on Friday, July 18, 2008 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson; Pastor Gretchen Ritola will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. There will be a prayer service at 6:30 P.M. on Monday evening. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Emerson. Alice was born on April 21, 1936 to Paul and Anna (Dittman) Utemark in Emerson, Nebraska. She graduated from Emerson High School. On February 8, 1958, she was married to Paul Tullberg. Her life revolved around raising her children and watching her grandchildren and great granddaughter grow. Alice is survived by her five children: Kathy Bos of Emerson, Larry Tullberg of Emerson, Lori Fuchser of Jackson, Kelly Tullberg of Omaha and Vicky Tullberg of Emerson. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Katrina, Mikaela, Karissa and Brett Warren, Justin Tullberg, Breanna Fuchser and Trent, Thaddeus and Tarah Tullberg, and a great granddaughter Karrena Modlin. Alice is also survived by a sister Vera Mackling of Sonoma, California and a brother Paul “Bud” and wife Sharon Utemark of Emerson, and an aunt, Gladys Rhode. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Larry Utemark and her aunt Helen Kahl.
