Bonnie C. Maslonka

Bonnie C. Maslonka, 70, of Pender, NE passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at the Pender Community Hospital in Pender. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Walthill Methodist Church in Walthill, NE at 11:00 a.m.; Pastor Steven Breazier will be officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Walthill Methodist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE. Bonnie was born March 26, 1944 in Walthill, NE to Ted and Ruby Maslonka. She attended Walthill High School and graduated in 1962. Bonnie worked at the Walthill City Office as the Village Clerk for several years. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking. Bonnie had a special bond with her nieces and nephews and their families, and enjoyed spending time with them. Bonnie is survived by her sisters, Marcella Hinds of Centerville, SD and Maryann (Wayne) Bakke of Sloan, IA; brothers, Ralph Maslonka of Sioux City, IA and Darrel Maslonka; sister-in-law, Doris Maslonka of Arvada, CO, and many nieces and nephews. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond Maslonka and David Maslonka, and sister Ramona Brinson.
