Click here to view the memorial video.Robert “Bob” Hinrich, 81, of Pender, NE died on Monday, July 28 2008 at the Pender Care Centre. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 30, at 2:00 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pender, NE with the Rev. Richard Pingel officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender. Interment will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pender. To leave condolences for the family, please visit www.munderlohfuneralhome.com Robert was born on July 5, 1927, in Wakefield, NE, the son of Gustav and Emily (Miller) Hinrich. He moved to Pender when he was six. He graduated from Pender High School in 1945. He entered the U. S. Army in November of 1945, and was honorably discharged in May of 1947. Robert worked construction for many years for Harold “Pete” Christiansen and later for Christiansen Construction Company. He retired in August of 1992. On August 22, 1954, he married Dorothy Siebrandt at St. John’s Lutheran in Pender. To this union was born two children, Debbie and Randy. Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy, daughter Debbie Tiedtke and her husband Rick of Stanton, son Randy and his wife Carol of Lexington, five grandchildren: Ryan Hinrich of Lexington; Bethany Hinrich of Grand Island, NE; Anthony Tiedtke of Omaha, NE; Travis Tiedtke of Omaha; and Michelle Tiedtke of Lincoln, NE, one great granddaughter Courtney Hinrich of Michigan, five sisters, Rose Bennett of Wisner, NE, Lucy Suhr of Auburn, NE; Stella Limmerick of Sioux City, IA; Susan Smith of Emerson, NE; Elsie Carmen Jepsen also of Emerson, and a brother, Gustav of Monrovia, CA. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, brothers’ Ernest, Arthur, and Fred, sisters Sara Murray and Ruth Hinrich, and an infant grandson, Brett Alan Hinrich.
