Gregg "Kooter" L. Voss

Gregg "Kooter" Voss, 55 of Emerson, NE died on Wednesday May 28,2014 at Pender Comm. Hospital from lung cancer. Abiding by his wishes, no services are planned. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Emerson. Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home of Emerson is in charge of the arrangements. Gregg was born on April 8, 1959 in Wakefield, NE the son of Fran and Jeneanne (Heelan) Voss. He graduated from Emerson High School in 1978 then joined Emerson Mfg. with his father. On April 28, 1997 he was united in marriage to Jennifer Moriston in Pender, NE. Gregg was known for his terrific sense of humor and had many friends. He enjoyed cooking and working on bicycles. He is survived by his wife Jennifer of Emerson, sons Tyler of Sioux City, IA and Travis of Fremont, NE, and his parents Fran and Jeneanne of Emerson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Ray and Dorothea Heelan and Louis and Lena Voss, and his mother and father-in-law Pat Marsh and Larry Moriston.
