Jesus Armendariz, Jr., 23, of Wakefield, Nebraska died on Thursday, June 19, 2014 in Wakefield, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. The visitation will be held on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Bressler - Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery in Wakefield, Nebraska. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Jesus was born July 20, 1990 in Glendale, AZ to Jesus Favela and Leticia (Zarate) Armendariz. He graduated from Raymond Kellis in Glendale, AZ. On November 29, 2011 he married Brenda Amelia Chavez. The couple has three children; Dominick, Joseph, and Melanie. Jesus in his free time enjoyed playing his Play Station, basketball, and watching sports. Jesus is survived by his wife; Brenda Chavez and children; Dominick, Joseph, and Melanie of Wakefield, NE, parents; Jesus Favela and Leticia Armendariz of Wakefield, NE, sisters; Daisy (Daniel) Ortiz of Wakefield, NE and Valerie Armendariz of Wayne, NE, brother Jonathan Armendariz of Phoenix, AZ, grandparents; Jose Ma and Laura Armendariz of Mesa, AZ and Salvador and Manuela Zarate of Brunswick, NE, niece; Jaelynn Armendariz of Phoenix, AZ, nephews; Geremiah and Jessie Armendariz of Glendale, AZ, Anthony and Aishah Valenzuela of Wakefield, NE, parent-in-laws; Raul and Juana Chavez of Wakefield, NE, brother-in-laws Raul Chavez and Carlos Chavez of Wakefield, NE, many aunts and uncles and his family in Arizona.
