Steven S. Savery, 48, of Avoca, NE, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014 at his home in Avoca. Memorial services will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wahoo, NE; Pastor Gail Madson will be officiating. A memorial visitation will be Monday, September 22, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wahoo, NE from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Burial will in Bancroft, NE at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft, NE.
Steven was born October 14, 1965 in Onawa, IA to Shurrell and Sharon (Raasch) Savery. He attended and graduated school at Charter Oak High School in Charter Oak, IA in 1984. Steven was a member of the Lincoln and National Chapters of HOG. He enjoyed planting gardens and having house plants. Most of his time was spent outdoors hunting and fishing, enjoying the horses, and motor racing. He loved being on the farm with the animals. He also enjoyed his motorcycles, and spending time with family and friends.
Steven is survived by his partner; Caroline Belmont of Avoca, NE, daughter; Kortny Francis of Lincoln, NE, father; Shurrell Savery of Sioux City, IA, sisters; Shelly (Steve) Powley of Fremont, NE, and Stacy English of Sioux City, IA, brothers; Scott (Debra) Savery of Gilbert, AZ, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Steven is preceeded in death by his mother; Sharon Raasch Savery, nephew; Nickolas English, aunt; Patrice Maise, and cousin; Chad Raasch
