Archie S. Hall, Jr., 48, of Waterbury, Nebraska died on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Medical Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. Memorial services for Archie will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at Sunnybrook Community Church in Sioux City, Iowa; with Pastor B.J. Van Kalsbeek officiating. The visitation with the family present will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home in Pender with a prayer service starting at 6:00 p.m. with Mr. Aaron Trimble leading the prayers. Inurnment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery of Pender. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home of Pender, NE.
Archie was born September 13, 1966 in Fort Knox, KY to Archie and Bonnie (Hill) Hall. He attended and graduated from Westwood High School in Ft. Pierce, FL in 1984. He served in the United States Navy. He went on to receive two Masters Degrees. On August 6, 1985 he married Angela Lampe. Archie worked as a safety manager for FLS for 9 years and most recently worked at IKD as a project manager. His work enabled him to travel all over the United States and England. He received many industrial certificates for safety and was a teacher at Wayne State College and helped to develop their safety program.
Archie enjoyed being outside fishing and camping. In his spare time he engaged in woodworking. He raised Lowline Angus cattle, chickens, and rare breed turkeys. His music of choice was Blue Grass and old country music. He was learning to play the mandolin and banjo. Archie enjoyed going antiquing. He enjoyed hosting his infamous annual Fourth of July parties. He loved his family, friends, and grandchildren. Archie will be remembered for his sense of humor and pranks.
He is survived by his wife; Angela Kay Hall of Waterbury, NE, daughters; Lindsay Kay Bowder of Waterbury, NE, and Laci Rene (Micheal) Fuchser of Hubbard, NE, mother; Bonnie Hall of Jackson, OH, mother-in-law; Dena Lampe of Pender, NE, brothers; Stacey (Gina) Musick of Vero Beach, FL, and Patrick (Carrie) Hall of Sioux City, IA, and grandkids, Devyn Fuchser, Desiree Bowder, and Tate Hall, one niece, five nephews and two great nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Archie Hall Sr. and father-in-law Harold Lampe, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
