Click here to view the memorial video.Susan Kay (Krist) Sandahl, 57, of Wakefield, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Memorial services will be held on Friday, October 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church in Wakefield with the Rev. Jerome Cloninger officiating. A prayer service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Susan Kay (Krist) Sandahl was born on September 22, 1951 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of LaVern and Lena (Badalamenti) Krist. She graduated from High School in Louisville, Nebraska with the class of 1969. She graduated from Wayne State College in 1973. On May 26, 1973 she married John Morris Sandahl in Papillion, Nebraska. She taught Art in Laurel, Nebraska for two years (1973 to 1975). Susan and John moved to Wakefield in 1975 and started farming. Her hobbies and interests included, scrapbooking, gardening, cooking. She most loved spending time with the grandkids, and taking trips in the corvette with her husband. Susan is survived by her parents, Vern and Lee Krist of Omaha, NE, her husband John of Wakefield, daughters Megan Pike and her husband Brian of Omaha, Tammy Voisin and her husband Jim of Papillion, Ne, and Jennifer Chaney and her husband Brian also of Papillion. She is also survived by a sister, Patty Baker and her husband Kevin of Lincoln, Ne, five grandchildren and four nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Edward and Hellen Krist, and Sam and Sarah Badalamenti, and her father-in-law, Morrie Sandahl,
