Click here to view the memorial video.Lloyd H. Schademann, 80, of Pender, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pender, NE, with the Rev. Richard W. Pingel officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Pender.Lloyd was born on November 8, 1928 in West Point, Nebraska, the son of Henry and Emma (Lubbers) Schademann. He attended school at District 59 School. On September 26, 1950 He married Anna Marie Westerhold. He served in the U. S. Army in Korea from 1951 to 1953. The couple farmed south of Pender until moving into town in 1992. Lloyd was active in farming until the time of his death. He enjoyed flying, farming and his livestock. He was a member of the International Flying Farmers, and for over 42 years he was a member of Card Club. Most of all he enjoyed his family. At St. John’s Lutheran Church he held several offices. He was also on the Soil Conservation Board for Cuming County.Lloyd is survived by his wife Anna Marie, children Barbara Corio and her husband Bob of Jefferson, SD, Keith Schademann and his wife Judy of Columbus, NE, and Joan Hansen and her Husband Jim of Pender, grandchildren: Alex, Justin and Kyle Corio, Lindsey, Jared, Rebecca and Abby Schademann, and Mike, Jesse, Brandon and Matt Hansen. He is also survived by a sister, Lina Gatzemeyer, of Lincoln, NE, and three great grandchildren.Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Leon.
