Michael Tott

Michael Lee Tott, 55, of Pender, NE, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Pender Community Hospital. Funeral services will be Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE, Pastor Mark Eldal will be officiating. The visitation will be Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Salix, IA. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE. Michael was born December 20, 1960 in Sioux City, IA to Ray and Marian (Jacobson) Tott. After attending school, Michael entered the U.S. Army and later earned his GED. He married Marcia Hainfield on May 15, 1987 and the couple had two daughters. Michael enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and working on cars. He loved to play jokes on people and having a good time. Most of all, Michael loved his family. Michael is survived by his wife, Marcia, daughters, Tricia (Tanner) Heineman and their son, Ostern of Pender, NE, Brittany Tott, and her son, Jack, of Pender, NE; and sister Glenda Evans of Lincoln, NE; uncle and aunt Phil and Cheryl Jacobson of Onawa, IA; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Tott.
