Connie L. Burger

Connie L. (Beaudette) Burger, 65, of Walthill, Nebraska, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the Pender Care Nursing Home in Pender, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Walthill with the Rev. Brion Tolzman officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Walthill. Connie was born on May 5, 1944 in Cherokee, Iowa to Rolland and Dorthy (Lorenzen) Beaudette. She spent her youth on a farm near Walthill, Ne. She was married in 1961 having one child, Faith. Later, she took college courses. She had a son, Roland, while going to college. She also worked in an airport restaurant where she enjoyed meeting all the people. In 2000 she suffered a stroke and moved into the Pender Care Centre. Connie is survived by her mother, Dorothy Beaudette, son Rolland J. Schreck, a sister Sharon Kramer and her husband Sonny, all of Walthill, two grandsons, Elijah and Matt Akkerman and many nieces and nephews. Connie was preceded in death by her dad, Rolland, both sets of grandparents, and her daughter, Faith.
