Richard "Rich" L. Harvey

Richard “Rich” L. Harvey, 58, of Bancroft, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 8, at 11:00 a.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft. A visitation will be held at the funeral home in Bancroft on Thursday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Bancroft Cemetery in Bancroft. Rich was born on April 12, 1951 in rural Barry County, Missouri, the son of Lyle Franklin and Eleanor (Bush) Harvey. Rich attended and graduated from North High School in Omaha, and later attended Creighton University and Dana College. He was married to Doris Baldwin on October 4, 1975 at a ceremony in Omaha, Nebraska. To this union three children were born: Matthew, Elizabeth and Adam. He is survived by his wife, Doris, of Bancroft, mother, Eleanor Matteson of Omaha, Children: Matthew Harvey and his wife Carmen of North Port, FL; Elizabeth Harvey of Hubbard, NE; Adam Harvey and his wife Patricia of Omaha, NE, grandchildren, Kaelin Dunham, Clara, Allison, Reagan, Seth and Asa Harvey. He is also survived by sisters Brenda Kay of Omaha, NE, and Connie Nichol of Illinois, five brothers-in-law, Phillip, Tony and Ricky Baldwin, Larry Bevers, and Dave Nichol as well as five nieces and three nephews.
