Lois Stapleton

Lois (Anderson) Stapleton, 88, of Allen, NE, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Pender Community Hospital in Pender, NE. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at First Lutheran Church in Allen, NE; Pastor Randall Herman will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the First Lutheran Church in Allen. Burial will be in the Concord Cemetery in Concord, NE. Memorial are suggested to the family for future designation.  Bressler - Munderloh - Smith Funeral Home of Wakefield is in charge of the arrangements.  Lois was born January 3, 1929 to Arthur and Isa Anderson in Rosalie, NE. She attended Macy High School. Lois was a postmaster in the area. She enjoyed quilting, solving jig saw puzzles on her ipad and raising flowers. Lois loved baking yummy rolls and rich desserts for all. Most of all, she loved being with her family. Lois is survived by her sons, Jim Stapleton (Carol Jean) of Allen, NE, John (Sue) Stapleton of Grand Island, NE; daughters, Loretta (Dale) Jackson of South Sioux City, NE, June Stapleton of Duncan, NE; sister, Leola Alexander Rowland Heights, CA; brother, Don (Sheila) Anderson of Cerritos, CA; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Larson; daughter, Diana; husband, Matthew Stapleton, two brothers and three sisters.
