David J. Robinson

David J. (Dave) Robinson, 91, of Wayne, Nebraska passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at Premier Estates Care Center in Wayne, Nebraska. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Rosehill Cemetery in Pender, Nebraska. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the committal at Munderloh Funeral Home in Pender (9:00 to 11:00 a.m.). David was born on February 14, 1918 at Earlville, Iowa, the son of John and Mary (Eaheart) Robinson. He married Pauline Schmidt in 1943 and they and their family lived in various places in California, Iowa and Nebraska. Dave taught history all of his life in various high schools. David is survived by five children: Dennis and his wife Melody of Ottumwa, Iowa; Eric and his wife Sharon of Yutan, NE; Mark and his wife Michelle of Peyton, CO; Tim and his wife Keri of Pender, NE and Nancy Nish of Branson, MO. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and two sisters, Grace Schroeder of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Rachel Johnson of California. David was preceded in death by brothers Audley and Brice and a son-in-law, Marty Nish.
