LeRoy A Weiershauser

LeRoy A. Weiershauser, 66, of Wakefield, Nebraska died on Friday, December 25, 2009 at Premier Estates Nursing Center in Wayne, Nebraska. The funeral service for LeRoy will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wakefield; Pastor Terry Buethe will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. with a prayer service at 6:00 P.M. at the Bressler ~ Munderloh Funeral Home in Wakefield. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery. LeRoy was born on October 13, 1943 in Wakefield, Nebraska the first son of Arthur and Alma (Blohm) Weiershauser. He attended and graduated from Wakefield High School. After graduating, LeRoy farmed with his father. After his father’s farm accident, LeRoy farmed with his brother Bob until his retirement. LeRoy enjoyed his friends and family. He also enjoyed the Wakefield Senior Center, where he was able to visit. LeRoy also loved his pets, especially his cat Old Geyser. He will be missed by all who knew him. LeRoy is survived by his brother Bob of Wakefield, three nieces and their families and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Alma.
