Joyce L. Kroger

Joyce Louise Kroger, 81, of Bancroft, Nebraska passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2009 at the Logan Valley Manor in Lyons, Nebraska. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Lyons, Nebraska with the Rev. Paul Kroger officiating. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft. Nebraska. Interment will be in the Bancroft Cemetery. Joyce was born on May 6, 1928 in Norfolk, Nebraska, the daughter of George and Louise (Abendroth) Diedrichsen. She married John Kroger on June 4, 1950 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bancroft, Nebraska. After their marriage, they lived in Rosalie until 1985 when they moved into Bancroft, and then to Lyons in 2007. Joyce liked gardening and canning. Joyce is survived by her husband John M. Kroger, children: John C. Kroger and his wife Kim of Bennington, NE, Paul Kroger and his wife Teresa of Little Rock, AR; Mark Kroger and his wife Carole of Amarilo, TX; Dwight Kroger and his wife Lisa of Sioux City, Iowa, and Carol Shires and her husband Mark of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and a brother, Howard Diedrichsen and his wife Joanne of Dumas, TX. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Marion Feller
