Arnold Brudigam

Arnold Brudigam, 99, of Wakefield, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at the Wakefield Health Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 18, at 10:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wakefield with the Rev. Terry Buethe officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Bressler~Munderloh Funeral Home in Wakefield with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Wakefield Cemetery. Arnold was born on October 7. 1910 in rural Wayne County, the son of Carl and Bertha (Doose) Brudigam. He married Mary Korth Hansen in 1955. Mary passed away in 1971. Arnold farmed around the Wakefield area all of his life. Arnold is survived by a sister, Mary Lou Krusemark of Wakefield, stepchildren: Bob Hansen and his wife Elaine; and Bill Hansen and his wife Marilyn both of Wakefield, twelve step grandchildren, a step son-in-law, Charles Dodd of Fremont, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Mary, a step daughter, Mabel Dodd, and three brothers, Lloyd, Les and Raymond Brudigam.
