Timothy "Tim" A. Rouse

Timothy “Tim” A. Rouse, 53, of Wakefield, Nebraska died on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home in Wakefield. A funeral for Tim will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Emerson; Fr. Mike Malloy will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Bressler ~Munderloh Funeral Home in Wakefield. There will be a prayer service held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wakefield Cemetery. Tim was born on November 25, 1956 in Yankton, South Dakota, the son of Don and Donna (Thiem) Rouse. At a young age his family moved into Wakefield. Tim attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church Grade School until graduating from Wakefield High School in 1976. After graduating from high school, Tim went to work for his family at Rouses Super Saver in both Sioux City and Wakefield. He later worked at Waldbaums, now Michael Foods until 2002, when he went to work for Concord Components. For the past several years, Tim has worked for Salem Lutheran Church in Wakefield. Tim was a generous person giving his time volunteering for many organizations. He also had a passion for the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs. He loved collecting baseball cards and scrapbooking. Most of all, Tim loved to spend time with his son and two daughters, and his granddaughter Chloe. Tim is survived by his children: Zach and Courtney Rouse both of Wakefield and Whitney Rouse of Lincoln, his granddaughter Chloe, his parents Don and Donna Rouse of Wakefield, a grandmother Cecelia Thiem of Albion, Nebraska, brothers Donnie Rouse of Hansen, Idaho and Dave Rouse of Wakefield; sisters Cindy Rouse of Lincoln and Angie and husband Ernie Silva of Kimberly, Idaho, and many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
