Joe Fendrick

Joe Fendrick, 29, of Wakefield, Nebraska, passed away at his home of natural causes on Thursday, July 15, 2010. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 19, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Emerson, Nebraska with the Rev. Gretchen Ritola Officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bressler-Munderloh Funeral Home in Wakefield with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. The family will be present at the visitation from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Emerson. Joe was born on May 6, 1981 in Pender, Nebraska, the son of Richard and Rita (Langmack) Fendrick. He lived in Emerson, Nebraska until the age of three when the family moved to Wakefield in 1984. He graduated from Wakefield High School in 1999, and went on to study Auto Body repair at Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska. After graduation from Milford, he worked for Renner’s Auto Body in Norfolk, Glenn’s Auto Body in Wayne, and had his own Shop, Joe’s Auto Body for six years in Wakefield. Most recently he was working for CVA in Newcastle, NE. His interests were in Mustangs, cars, and classic cars. He also enjoyed playing with his two nephews. Joe is survived by his parents, Richard and Rita Fendrick of Wakefield, NE, brother Jason Fendrick and his wife Cindy of Omaha, Nebraska, two nephews, Ethan and Aaron, maternal grandmother Viva Langmack of Emerson, NE; and uncles Franklin Fendrick and his wife Karla of Pender, NE; and Marlowe Langmack and his wife Linda of Emerson, NE, as well as numerous cousins. Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Myrna and Frank Fendrick, and his Maternal grandfather, Harold Langmack.
