Karissa Lynn Warren

Karissa Lynn, "Krissy Lynn" or "Kissy", Warren, left the earthly world behind her on Saturday, August 14th, 2010, with her "Grandma Gertie" awaiting her at the gates of heaven. A funeral for Karissa will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Emerson; Pastor Gretchen Ritola will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. There will be a prayer service held at 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday evening. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Emerson. Karissa was born on January 26, 1987, at Pender NE, the youngest daughter of Greg and Kathy Warren. She came into this world fighting, and accomplished more in 23 years than most people do in a lifetime. She was a natural people magnet and the light that lit the room wherever she went. She always had a smile on her face. Her life was her family and friends, especially her fiancé Tim, and spending time with them. She loved taking pictures and lots of them. But most of all she treasured her dog Zoey. She will be deeply missed by her mother, Kathy Warren of Emerson NE, father and stepmother, Greg and Tammi Warren, Dakota City, NE, big sisters Katrina and her husband Sam Heikes, Dakota City, NE, and Mikaela & her boyfriend Jayme Gabel, little brother, Brett, her niece who was her pride and joy, Karrena Modlin of Dakota City, NE, special nephew, Hunter Heikes, her fiancé and best friend, Tim Langmack of Emerson, Tim's parents Marlow & Linda Langmack of Emerson, maternal grandfather, Paul Tullberg of Schuyler, NE, paternal grandparents, Dale Warren & Betty Warren of Emerson, aunts and uncles Larry Tullberg, Al & Lori Fuchser (Karissa's baptismal sponsors), Kelly Tullberg, Vicky Tullberg, Chet & Cindy Mackling, Jerry & Laurie Stamp, special cousin & girlfriend Breanna Fuchser, cousins Trent, Thadd & Tarah Tullberg, Justin Tullberg & Lauren Kaser, Elisha Mackling & Nolan Johnson, Amy and Corey Mackling, Michael Stamp & Britni Jepsen, Phillip, Jeremy and Zachery Stamp, Tim's brother Scott & Stacey Langmack and Morgan, Blake, Cole & Kallie, and Tim's sister Brenda & Justin Mueller and Brayson & Reed. She will especially be missed by her beloved dog Zoey and cat Tinkerbell. Karissa was also very excited about the arrival of her future niece or nephew. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Alice Tullberg. Also to greet Karissa were her paternal great grandparents Lee & LaMoyle Warren and George & Hannah Crosley, and numerous great aunts & uncles.
