Jeffrey W. Larsen, 51, of Bancroft, Nebraska died on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the Oakland Hospital in Oakland, Nebraska. The funeral for Jeff will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Presbyterian Church in Bancroft; Pastor Charity Potter officiating. The visitation will be held on Monday from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Bancroft. Burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery. Jeffrey was born on May 25, 1959 in Oakland, NE to Lawrence and Sally “Svendsen” Larsen. He attended Bancroft Public School and was part of the football team that made 1978 State Runner-Up. Jeff graduated from Bancroft High School in 1978. He married Carol Francis on October 27, 1990. They have 2 daughters. Jeffrey raced a car at Riviera Raceway after high school. He put up grain bins for 2 years and worked for the Bancroft Elevator for 3 years. Jeff has been a truck driver for Larsen Transfer since 1974. His hobby was working on motorcycles. Jeffrey is survived by his wife Carol; daughters, Stephanie and Whitney; father, Lawrence Larsen of Bancroft; sisters, Kris (Terry) Colwell of Norfolk, Kim Bleckwehl of Ida Grove, IA; brothers, James (Diane) Larsen of Bancroft, Dan Larsen of Bancroft, as well as many nieces and nephews. Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Sally.
