DeLores Mary Stallbaum, 93, of Emerson, Nebraska died on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Heritage of Emerson Nursing Home in Emerson. Funeral services for DeLores will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Emerson; Pastor Gretchen Ritola will be officiating. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Munderloh Funeral Home in Emerson. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery of Emerson. DeLores was born on August 27, 1917 in Nacora, Nebraska, the daughter of Ralph and Mary Catherine (Fitzsimmons) Lamp. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Emerson, Ne. DeLores married Willie George Stallbaum on September 11, 1935 at St. Luke’s Church in Emerson. The couple farmed north of Emerson and later moved the family farm south of Emerson. In 1965 the couple moved to Wakefield, Nebraska where they operated a business. In 1969 the couple returned to Emerson. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September of 1985. Three daughters were born to this union. Janice Mary, who died as an infant, Lulene Mary (Sebade) and Cindy Sue (Hoffman). Willie died on January 19, 1990. DeLores loved flowers and gardening, ceramics, and baking cookies and cakes which she generously shared with everyone. DeLores is survived by two daughters: Lulene Sebade of Emerson, NE; and Cindy Hoffman and her husband Ted of Chesterfield, MO., four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, three step great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. DeLores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Willie, and an infant daughter, Janice Mary, son-in-law Ervin Sebade, and a great grandson, Jared Sebade.
