Arleen Iola Jump, 73, of Walthill, NE, passed away September 23, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City, IA. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Church of Latter Day Saints in Sioux City, IA. The visitation will be Tuesday, September 26, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender. The burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Decatur, NE. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE Arleen was born September 29, 1943 to Opechancanough and Flossie (Stewart) Adkins in Charles City, VA. After high school, she received her Bachelor’s Degree from Bacone College in Muskogee, OK. Arleen married Dick Lee Jump in Elk Point, SD on August 6, 1993. She worked as a cook at the Omaha Nation School in Macy, NE for over 34 years. Arleen volunteered at the Walthill Senior Center, was on the board, and was a member of the Latter-day Saints Church. Arleen was also a member of the Chickahominy Tribe in Virginia. She loved to cook, sew, and enjoyed sending greeting cards to friends and relatives. Arleen is survived by her husband, Dick Jump of Walthill, NE; sons, Pernell J. Robinson, Sr. of Walthill, NE, Louis Albert Webster of Walthill, NE; daughters, Natalie Robinson of Macy, NE, Melissa (Jeron) Henscheid of Harlan, IA, Savannah Ricehill of Sioux City, IA; step-children Roxanne Jump of Sioux City, IA, Tammy Mellick; of Pender, NE, and Greg Jump of Walthill, NE; brother, Alfred Adkins of Providence Forge, VA; sister, Gladys Adkins of Providence Forge, VA; brother-in-law Wm. Rennie Allen of Charles City, VA; 20 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Charlotte Adkins-Allen; and mother-in-law, Mabel Jump. Pallbearers Phillip Robinson, Manuel Ramos, Pernell Robinson, Jr., Albert Robinson, Louis Webster, and Xander Freemont. Honorary pallbearers are Arlene Cook, Alice Freemont, Mary Marr, Karen Tyndall, Connie Karloff, Dorothy Nottleman, Suzette Simeroth, and Arnette Adkins.
