Bradley D. Chase

Bradley Dean Chase, 65, of Laurel, NE, died on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, NE.  The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Wakefield Christian Church in Wakefield, NE. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Wakefield Christian Church. Burial will be in the Springbank Friends Cemetery at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Bressler – Munderloh – Smith Funeral Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield.

Brad was born in Sioux City, IA on June 11, 1958, the son of Billy and Arlene (Backman) Chase.  He graduated from Allen High School in 1977.  Following graduation, he worked as a drywaller for a time, until later working at Waldbaum’s and most recently at Great Dane in Wayne.  He enjoyed trapping, fishing, and hunting. 

Brad is survived by his daughters, Ashley Chase of Omaha, NE, Lacy Chase and her children, Bianca, Tiffany, Michael, and Nikolace of Wakefield, NE; brothers, Bill Chase of Wakefield, NE, Rick Chase of Allen, NE, Jeff (Vicky) Chase of Holdrege, NE; and a  sister, Lisa (Steve) McMahon-Gunsolley of Allen, NE.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Arlene; brother, Brent Chase; and a nephew, Andrew Chase.
