Carol E. Vogt

Carol E. Vogt, 76, of Bancroft, NE passed away at her home in Bancroft, on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the National Fragile X Foundation in Carol's name.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft, NE.

Carol was born on April 27, 1948, in West Point, NE, the daughter of Jack and Dolores (Brummond) Vogt. She attended Bancroft High School, graduating in 1966. For many years, Carol worked at the John G. Neihardt Center in Bancroft. She also worked for many years at Hobby Lobby in Norfolk. For a few years she worked at Cubbies in Pender, retiring due to her failing health. She enjoyed crafting and Painting. Most of all she loved to work on quilts.

Carol is survived by a brother, John (Mary Lynn) Vogt of Fremont, NE; sister-in-law, Donna Vogt of Springfield, IL; two nephews, Steven (Betsy) Vogt, and Timothy Vogt; niece, Lisa (Adam) Fowler; and seven great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Roger Vogt.
