Cyrena A. Lee

Cyrena A. Lee, 76, of Omaha, NE died on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Burgess Health Center in Onawa, IA. Funeral services for Cyrena will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft, NE. The visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft. Burial will be at a later date in the National Cemetery in Omaha, NE. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft. Cyrena was born on January 17, 1945 in West Point, NE, the daughter of George and Carrie (Launsby) Grone. Following her graduation from Bancroft High School, Cyrena attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business. On March 30, 1968, Cyrena was united in marriage to Theodore Lee at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bancroft. To this union three children were born, Michael, Michelle and Christina. While raising her family, Cyrena like to follow the stock market, invest in real estate, and work on tax strategies and accounting. She also liked to sew and enjoyed traveling to Florida. She is survived by her husband, Ted of Omaha, NE; son, Michael (Nancy) Lee of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughters, Michelle Lee of Bancroft, NE and Christina Lee of Omaha, NE; brother, George Grone of Minneapolis, MN and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Cyrena was preceded in death by her parents, George and Carrie; brother and sister-in-law, Maurice and Vera Grone and a sister-in-law, Pat Grone.
