Darin Farewell

Darin Farewell, 55, of Rosalie, NE, died on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at the Pender Community Hospital in Pender, NE. The visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft.  The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 29, 2022, at the Bancroft Community Center in Bancroft.  Burial will be at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Bancroft.  For those attending the services, the family requests you please dress casual and if you have a classic car, please drive it.

Darin was born on December 14, 1966, in Wakefield, NE, the son of Darold and Frances (Schultz) Farewell.  Darin attended and graduated from Bancroft-Rosalie High School in 1985.  He was united in marriage to Candice Stacken in Creighton, NE on May 5, 2017.  The couple made their home in Rosalie, NE.  Darin loved to fish, work on his 1981 Camaro, and tinker with old cars.  He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Darin is survived by his wife Candice Farewell of Rosalie, NE; sons, Jake (Brooke) Farewell of Atkinson, NE, Lane (Lucy) Campbell of Pender, NE Logan Campbell of Leigh, NE; daughters, Shayna (Clinton Dunn) Suhr of Homer, NE, Haley Farewell of Homer, NE, Nelia (Walker) Campbell of Ames, IA, Laredo (McKean) Jenkins of Plainview, NE; twelve grandchildren; Mother, Frances Farewell of Beemer, NE; and a brother, Sid (Lisa) Farewell of West Point, NE.

He was preceded in death by his father, Darold Farewell, and a brother, Randy Farewell.
