Evelyn J. Webster

Evelyn J. Webster, 85, of Pender, Nebraska died on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at her home in Pender.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Church of Pender; with Pastor Dan Springer officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Pender.  Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Pender.  Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender. 

Evelyn was born on February 9, 1933, in Lyons, NE, the daughter of Tom and Marie (Hough) Deckard.  She attended and graduated from Lyons High School.  She was united in marriage to Arnold Webster in Lyons on September 17, 1950.  The couple moved to Pender.  To this union three children were born; Gregg, Steve and Diane.  She worked for many years at Pender State Bank until her retirement.  After she retired, Evelyn enjoyed her time quilting.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and Heritage Club.  Evelyn also enjoyed gardening and sewing.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Arnold of Pender, NE; sons, Gregg (Kathy) Webster of Pender, NE, Steve Webster of Thurston, NE; daughter, Diane (Garry) Roeber of Wayne, NE; four grandchildren, Daniel Roeber of Clearwater, NE, Matthew (Amber) Roeber of Wayne, NE, Lynna Webster of Pender, NE, FayeMarie (Trey) Wheeler of Norfolk, NE; seven great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Deckard of Tekamah, NE; brothers-in-law, George Horton of Springfield, MO, Gary (Glenice) Webster of Laurel, NE; sister-in-law, Carole (Fritz) McCord of Bruning, NE.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry Deckard; sister-in-law, Sandra Horton.
