Janet Noe

Janet Ruth (Dobrovolny) Noe, 66, of Allen, NE passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 surrounded by family in her loving home. Memorial services will be Friday, March 9, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Allen; Pastor Lorri Kentner will be officiating. The visitation will be Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Allen. Burial will be at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE. Janet was born November 11, 1951 in Onawa, IA to Lester “Les” Frank Dobrovolny and Norma Jean (Bouslaugh) Martin. She graduated from Maple Valley High School in 1969. Janet married John Norman Noe of Allen on February 25, 1996 at the United Methodist Church in Allen. She worked as a customer service representative at MCI, a front line employee at McDonalds, breaker operator at Waldbaums in Wakefield, NE, and retired from being a ward clerk at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE in 2017. Janet was active with her boys as a Cub Scout leader. She was also involved in Girl Scout activities with her daughter. Janet enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards, singing with her grandkids, and reading. She also loved camping and fishing. She is survived by her husband, John Noe of Allen, NE; step-mother, Phyllis Dobrovolony of Castana, IA; children, Michael (Tamie) Gregerson of Allen, NE, Robert (Debbie) Gregerson of Douglas, NE, Shane (Melody) Gregerson of Thorton, CO, Stephanie (Jayson) Smith of Anthon, IA, Matthew Dobrovolony, of CA; stepdaughter, Sandy (Wes) Wanamaker of Fayetteville, AR; brother, Bruce (Kari) Dobrovolny of Spirit Lake, IA; 19 grandchildren, Alicia (Karl) Tanderup, Michael Gregerson, Christina Gregerson, Ashley (Riley) Koeppe, Austin Gregerson, Marissa, Garrett, and Hailie Brentlinger, Taylor, Ruby, and Shain Gregerson, Whitney Conaway, Seth, Kelsey, and Ethan Malcom, Andrea Latti, Derek Wanamaker, Sierra and Alexis Brahmsteadt; and 10 great-grandchildren, Maverick, Sawyer, Harley Tanderup, Layla and Parker Koeppe, Graysen Westra, Rayne and Rowen Conaway, and Arianna and Addilyn Latti, and two great-grandbabies on the way. Janet was preceded in death by her father, Lester Dobrovolony; mother, Norma Jean Martin; stepfather, Doris Martin; daughter, Catherine Gregerson; step-daughter, Anita Malcom; brother, Tom Dobrovolony, and sister, Gwen Dobrovolny.
