John N Noe

John Norven Noe, 77, of Allen, NE passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at his home. A tribute to his military service will be honored by conducting Military Honors at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Allen-Waterbury Fire Station in Allen, NE. A Celebration of Life will follow the Military Honors until 4:00 p.m. at the Allen-Waterbury Fire Station in Allen, NE. Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home. 

John was born on February 17, 1947, at the family home in rural Allen, NE to Glen and Mable (Jacobson) Noe. He attended and graduated from Allen High School in 1968. On May 11, 1968, John married Agnes (Brentlinger). Together the couple had three children, Tamie, Anneta, and Sandy. John was drafted into the US Army and served in the Korean Conflict. Upon his return, he worked with his father as a carpenter until he started his career as a truck driver. John team drove with his brother (Danny) as an over-the-road trucker until his brother was in an accident and passed away. John then started driving more locally and most recently drove for Isom Ag. After divorcing Agnes, John married Janet (Dobrovolny) on February 25, 1996. 

John had many accomplishments and enjoyments but his most favorable were hunting, fishing and camping with his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Allen American Legion Post 131. 

John is survived by his daughters, Tamie (Mike) Gregerson of Allen, NE, Sandy (Wesley) Wanamaker of Crofton, NE, Robert (Debbie) Gregerson of Douglas, NE, Shane (Melody) Gregerson of Thornton, CO, Stephanie (Jayson) Smith of Smithland, IA; grandchildren, Alicia (Karl) Tanderup, Mike (Barb) Gregerson, Christina (Bret) Lutz, Ashley (Riley) Koeppe, Austin Gregerson (Kayli Naeve), Sierra Brahmsteadt, Alexis Brahmsteadt, Whitney Conaway, Seth (Nikki) Malcom, Kelsey (Kyle) Eddy, Ethan Malcom, Andrea (Charlynn Janer) Latti, Derek Wanamaker, Marissa Brentlinger, Garrett Brentlinger, Hailie Brentlinger, Taylor Gregerson, Ruby Gregerson, Shain Gregerson; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Susan Cooper of Allen, NE, Paulette Kumm of Allen, NE; brothers, Robert (Carol) Noe of Canyon, TX, Terry Noe of southern KS; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and aunt Mary Jacobson.

John is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janet; brother, Danny Noe; daughter, Anneta Malcom; special brother-in-law, Keith Brentlinger; and a father-like uncle, DeWayne Halstrom.
