Kyle Lee Wageman

Kyle Lee Wageman, 24, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Pender, NE, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Lincoln, NE.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church south of Pender, NE; Pastor Robert Schilling and Pastor Daniel Bremer will be officiating.  The visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Munderloh – Smith Funeral Home in Pender.  Burial will be in the St. John’s Lutheran Church Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Orphan Grain Train.

Kyle Lee Wageman was born June 4, 1995, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Grand Island, NE. Kyle died unexpectedly on February 4, 2020, in Lincoln, NE. He was baptized July 6, 1995, at Grace Lutheran Church in Grand Island, NE. Kyle attended Starr Elementary School, Barr Middle School, and Heartland Lutheran High School in Grand Island. After moving to Pender, Kyle graduated Pender Public High School, Pender, NE. After graduation, Kyle was employed by Goodwill Industries, and later managed Gosda Carwash in Grand Island. Kyle enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, and swimming. Kyle was a good friend with a big heart to those who knew him.  He was fun loving, often bringing laughter to the room when he entered.

Kyle is survived by his father, Steve (Kellie) Wageman of Pender, NE; mother, Evonne Wageman of Grand Island, NE; brothers, Kevin Wageman of Pender, NE and Kody Wageman of Sioux City, IA; step brother, Levi McKay; step sisters, Jordan (Jacob) Ernesti of Beemer, NE and Rebecca McKay of Pender, NE; paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Carol Wageman of Pender; maternal grandmother Marlys Hemberger of Hastings, NE; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl Hemberger.
