Lee F. Reppert

Lee F. Reppert, 85, of Pender, NE died on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Legacy Garden Rehabilitation and Living Center in Pender, NE.  Memorial visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in rural Pender.  The memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the church with Pastor Kathy Montira officiating.  Inurnment with military honors will be in St. Peter’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Pender.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.  Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, NE. 

Lee was born on March 21, 1936 in West Point, NE to Fred and Theresa (Schwedhelm) Reppert.  He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in West Point.  Lee attended and graduated from West Point High School in May of 1953.  On March 10, 1960 Lee married Edeltraud Hielscher in Heidelberg, Germany.  To this union, the couple had three children.  Lee and Edeltraud moved to rural Pender where they started farming together and joined St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. 

Lee was a lifelong farmer and an avid outdoorsman.  He was an active member within St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and the American Legion Post.  Lee liked working in his shop fixing things and tinkering around.  He enjoyed spending countless hours hunting and shooting at the gun range.  For the past 21 years, Edeltraud and Lee spent their winters in Arizona.  While in Arizona Lee enjoyed working at the Bell Metal Club in Sun City, AZ. 

Lee is survived by his wife, Edeltraud Reppert of Pender; son, Thomas (Terri) Reppert of Pender; daughters, Anneliese (Randy) Bowder of Pender, NE, Theresa (Randy) Washam of Clear Water, FL; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles, Fred, Richard, and Lewis.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents.
