Michael E. Conyers

Michael Eugene Conyers, 59, of Wakefield, NE died on July 21, 2020 at Providence Medical Center in Wayne, NE.  Michael’s wishes were to be cremated.  No services are currently being scheduled.  Arrangements are under the direction of Bressler-Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Wakefield, NE.

Michael was born on September 30, 1960 in Omaha, NE to David and Susan (Christman) Conyers.  He graduated from Millard South High School in 1978 and continued his education earning an LPN certificate from Iowa Western Community College.  Michael married Beth Lueschen and together the two had five children. 

Michael was a nurse for 21 years at the State School in Glenwood, Iowa. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.  Michael loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. 

Michael is survived by his father, David Conyers of Omaha, NE; son, Ryan Conyers of Wakefield, NE; daughters, Elisha Conyers of Omaha, NE, LeighAnn Conyers of Council Bluffs, IA; Kalley Conyers and fiancé Michael Day of Wakefield, NE; grandchildren, Gary, Leanna, Tate, Braxton, Jameson, Suezy; sister, Cathy (Juels) DeLuea of Omaha, NE; brothers, Dave (Rachel) Conyers of Seaside, OR, Steve (Laura) Conyers of Omaha, NE.   

Michael is preceded in death by his wife, Beth in 2001; mother, Susan; daughter, AmaliaAnn Conyers.
